Vacuum Vac Lock Safety Wall Fitting for ATIE Free Rotation Pool Vacuum Replacement for Zodiac, Hayward, Pentair Suction Pool Cleaners

The Safety Vacuum/Vac Lock is a mechanism designed with a spring-loaded cover that holds the pool cleaner hose in place and automatically snaps the suction fitting closed when not in use. It is compatible with all suction pool cleaners, including the Hayward Pool Vac, Navigator, Baracuda, Kreepy Krauly, and many others.

Installation instructions:

1. Apply silicone sealant to the 1 1/2" male threads and hand-tighten the fitting into the 1 1/2" female wall fitting already installed in the pool. This fitting will be connected to the suction side of the plumbing system, with a 3-way or ball valve at the equipment to adjust the flow rate.

2. Thread the fitting into the wall fitting as far as possible, with the "arrow marking" pointing upwards. The spring will be on top.

3. Secure the set screw.

4. Use a screwdriver to open the flap and then insert the vacuum/pool cleaner hose. The "clip" inside the flap will help hold the vacuum/pool cleaner hose to the wall fitting when the pump is turned off.

5. When not in use, ensure the cover flap is snapped firmly in place.

6. NEVER operate a pool/spa with an uncovered suction outlet or vacuum port.

The Safety Vacuum/Vac Lock is a free-rotation vacuum lock safety wall fitting that can replace the Hayward W400BWHP, W400BBKP, and W400BLGP models. It also fits the Pentair Safety snap-lock wall fitting GW9530 and K12500. The product is available in a white color.
